Additive printing

Additive printing - color printing method which produces an image by giving three separate exposures, each filtered to one of the three primary color wavelengths, blue, green and red.

The principles of color in theory are the same in subtractive and additive printing. The difference is that the additive printer uses the primary colors of red, green, and blue.
