Using Available Light
The almost universally accepted flash off icon.
Turning the flash off for indoor portraits can give you much more natural lighting.
Available RAW Image Manipulation / Adjustment
Adjustments made are stored in the image file and can be applied to the current image (single image view / one image selected) or multiple images selected in the contact sheet view mode.

AVAILABLE CONNECTIONS
Almost all of those new digital camera models offer a USB connection to connect to a computer.
AVAILABLE LIGHT - Existing light surrounding a subject; the light that is illuminating a scene without any additional light supplied by the photographer. "Ambient light" and "existing light" are two other terms that mean the same thing.

A preset setting on the camera. It is one of the selections for the [SCENE] function. It sets the flash mode to flash-off but still allows you to take pictures in dark places.

The F-mount 35 mm f/3.5 PC-Nikkor lens shifts up to 11 mm in any direction. Introduced in 1961, it was the first shift lens in the 35 mm format.
Available light typically means daylight, continuous light and sometimes a mixture of daylight and artificial light. The locations are likely to be theatres, outdoor locations, whether stages or otherwise, and dance studios.

Available Light
Night or available light situation usually suffer from extreme contrasts between dark and very bright spots (like street lights).
Available in selected Nikon D-SLRs, the 51-point AF system positions 51 points of focus within the frame to allow photographers to choose a variety of focus configurations to suit the shooting situation.
Available light - this can be any kind of light that's already there, such as daylight or artificial light - as opposed to light the photographer adds with a flash gun or other photographic lighting unit.

Available light. Strictly speaking, existing light covers all natural lighting from moonlight to sunshine.
Available space for storing picture is often limited on free online photo albums. This isn't a problem if you post only selective pictures. However, you can run out of room in the album if you want to post multiple shots.
If available, I also recommend shooting in RAW. This format is helpful in that you can adjust the exposure compensation later if it is a bit "off.

Pros: Available for next to nothing.
Cons: Don't last very long at all and can't be recharged. They also have fairly high internal resistance and so it takes a few extra seconds for the flash unit to recharge between shots.
