Back-lighting - light directed at the subject from behind the subject. This often causes the subject to be underexposed unless spot metering or exposure compensation is used.
Back Light
Back Light separates subject from background, saints from sinners, and one pro from another. Angle: toward the lens from above and behind the subject, or above, behind, and slightly to the side of it, high enough to cut lens Flare.
Back-lit. The subject is illuminated from behind and will be underexposed unless you use fill flash or exposure compensation.
Back Lighting Compensation (BLC) indicates the image sensor's ability to automatically adjust in conditions where lighting is from behind the camera to deliver the sharpest and highest quality video image possible.

Back Lit - The subject is heavily lit from behind which generally causes it to be underexposed unless you use critical spot metering.
Back Up your Photos: Back up your photos on a hard drive. Ideally you should have 2 copies on separate drives or photo servers. I keep copies on two drives at the studio and another drive off-site, in case of fire.

So back to Part 4. You say that you convert Raw files to Tiff then run your "action file" to generate JPG files. Heres where I get in to trouble.
