You can either choose to shoot a backlit silhouette (by positioning your subject such that the backlight highlights mainly the outline of the face).
Superficially, it allows you to change the RGB values but doesn't fundamentally change the color characteristics of the backlight in the monitor.
Depending on the time of day strong backlighting can present a problem. This should be taken into consideration when choosing the highway entrance to the valley. If you aren't pressed for time do take a trip through the Valley of the Gods.

But give strong consideration to backlighting — that is — light coming from behind the flower, toward the camera.
There are opportunities to experiment with unusual flash angles and backlighting, and tomanipulate background effects.
Underexposed image (too dark) due to strong backlighting - Take photo from another angle. Or should have locked in focus and exposure on the darker area, then recompose.

Sharpness is also an important part of presentation, especially for the main subject and the eyes of the subject.
Where is the focal point? Did your focal point give you the effect you wanted?
Sunlight behind the subject can give a very pleasing 'backlight' effect but be careful that you are not getting 'flare' in the lens, which degrades the contrast of the image. - go to Photography in Sunlight

Rim lighting, also known as "backlighting", where the subject is lit from behind, is a great technique for shooting a profile portrait. I ended up capturing a bunch of great water-drinking shots, but this one ended up being one of our favorites.
They do so long as you remember to use your flash to illuminate your subjects. Sunsets backlight your subject. To solve this problem, you need to shine light on your subject's front side to even things out.
If the product has any problems with glass, these problems are best shown with straight-on or oblique backlighting.
If possible on your camera, shoot in RAW mode.
