Bag bellows are short flexible sleeve that are 'bag shaped' that are used on large format cameras in place of normal bellows when short focal length lenses are employed. This permits unrestricted camera movements.

Bag bellows and a longer rail are available. Not very rigid or precise (no geared focussing). You build it yourself from a kit !
Calumet Cadet. Two entry level cameras with fixed bellows (one normal, one wide-angle with a shorter rail).

The Arca Swiss F Classic needed a long bellows and a bag bellows to work well with my lens kit and some disassembly of the telescoping monorail for packing the camera away.

Perfect size and design for 4x5 Wisner, four lenses (90, 120, 210, & 305), spotmeter, polaroid or quickload back, bag bellows, and tons of accessories. (Save space with readyloads/quickloads: no dust or loading film holders in field).

Other cameras may be better if you need more bellows draw or optional bag bellows. There is no bag bellows for the Tachihara, but there is a bellows extension available here that lets you use it with longer lenses.

Very short focal length wide-angle lenses may require the standards to be closer together than a normal concertina-folded bellows will allow; a bag bellows, a simple light-tight flexible bag must be used.
