The intensity of light reflected from a surface. It is sometimes an alternative term for luminosity.
Contrast/Brilliance: Readings at 5 (and maybe 10) lp/mm represent the contrast-behaviour of a lens. Even small differences (2.5% !!!) can be identified on the picture! You can think of it as a sort of basic "sharpness".
