Celsius
formerly known as Centigrade, a thermal scale for measuring heat and/or cold temperature, more widely used than the Fahrenheit scale in scientific and other laboratory work with a freezing point of zero.

Celsius (Celsius Temperature Scale):
A temperature scale with zero degrees as the melting point of pure ice and 100 degrees as the boiling point of pure water at standard sea level atmospheric pressure.

(Kelvins, in turn is equal to the temperature in degrees Celsius + 273.15, normally rounded to 273, so 30 degrees celsius is equal to 303K) ...

15 on the Celsius scale, and -459.67 on the Fahrenheit scale).
The idea of a true minimum temperature has been confirmed by many experiments.

Kelvin degrees are the same as Celsius, except for being 273 degrees apart. (C = K - 273.) This scientific classification refers to how hot something would have to be heated to glow the same color. Imagine your electric heater or range.

7 degrees Celsius); the sun is out and a light breeze perfectly balances out the heat. What better day to go outside and photograph nature? Well, problem: That breeze will keep flowers and other plants from sitting still.

They will function normally in operating temperatures ranging from -25 to +75 degrees Celsius. CompactFlash cards have a lifespan of 100 years and no loss of memory will occur in normal use. They should be able to withstand drops from up to 3 meters.

(Kelvin is similar to the Celsius scale but uses absolute zero, -273°C, as the starting point rather than the freezing temperature of water and is thus a unit and not technically a degree) Note that some of the terminology is a bit confusing here.

Temperture varies, but is up to 20 celsius peaking in august, and down to 12 celsius in march-may. There's great underwater photography at Catalina Island, and also good macro photography at Catalina.

Named after a Scots scientist of the 19th century, the Kelvin scale is another way to measure temperature like Fahrenheit or Celsius. Light consists of various colors, as you can see when light passes through a prism.

Kelvin scale
Temperature scale beginning at absolute zero (approx. -273° Celsius = 0 Kelvin). Therefore Celsius values can easily be converted into Kelvin by adding 273 degrees to the Celsius value. (Colour temperature) ...

Zero Kelvin, equivalent to about -273 degrees Celsius, is the lowest possible temperature, below which atomic motion itself no longer occurs.
