CIE standard observer
a hypothetical observer having the tristimulus color mixture data recommended in 1931 by the CIE to a 2º viewing angle. (If not specified the 2º standard observer should be used.
CIE standard - system of standards adopted by the Commission Internationale de I'Eclairage, allowing accurate descriptions of colors.
D50
The CIE Standard Illuminant that represents a colour temperature of 5000 K. This is the colour temperature that is most widely used in graphic arts industry viewing booths.
