-Color developer - developer designed to reduce exposed silver halides of black silver and at the same time create oxidation byproducts that will react with color couplers to form specific dyes.
3. Color Developer: 21oC, for 9 min., if developer fresh.

The RA-4 process is a washless process that consists of color developer, bleach/fix, and stabilizer. The total processing time for the RA-4 process is about 4 1/2 minutes.
The second step is a water rinse batch and I usually put in 500 ml of 102-degree water to keep the drum up to temperature in preparation for the color developer.
The film is fogged in the reversal step, and is then developed in a color developer.
