CLUT (Color Look-Up Table)
a color-management software reference file that maintains the proper calibration of devices, such as monitors, printers and scanners. (See also, LUT.)

CMY
Acronym for Cyan/Magenta/Yellow. A subtractive color system based on the primary colors cyan, magenta, and yellow.
A palette is also called a CLUT (color look-up table).
On monochrome systems, the term palette is sometimes used to refer to the available fill patterns.
