FILTERS FOR COLOR PRINTING Filters used to print color are as follows: color compensating (CC), color printing (CP), ultraviolet absorbing, and dichroic. Each one of these filters is discussed below.
This makes white clouds look awful. Forget the curves, just look at the pictures. You cannot tune this out with color printing filters or gels over the taking lens, although you can tweak it out in Photoshop if you are advanced.
Photographic color printing filters (available in cyan, yellow and magenta) can also be used, but these filters are usually too pale to give nice, rich colors in the final print.
