Serial transfer
Connecting a digital camera to a computer via the serial port ( also known as the COM port on PC's or Printer / Modem port on Apple Macs ) in order to download images. Quite slow.
This serial device can achieve speeds up to 115 kilobits per second. On a IBM comptible computer the RS-232-C interface is commonly referred to as a serial port or COM port. RS-232-C is slower than SCSI.
