I think that comet shots are a great opportunity to "go digital". When I developed my Hale-Bopp shots, I found that I had a reasonable set of photos, but with one common flaw: grain.
Comets are remarkable pieces of our universe's past, and they tell us a great deal about how the universe was formed. Learn about the long but rewarding process of discovering and analyzing comets. Condensation ...
The taxman cometh! Like a barbarian horde, auditors from the federal, state and local governments are roaming the countryside looking for any unpaid taxes to help defray the increasing cost of public services.
May 13: Great Comet. May 13 American Civil War: Victoria of the United Kingdom issues a "proclamation of neutrality" which recognizes the breakaway states as having belligerent rights.
Coma - the image of a point source of light cannot be brought into focus, but has instead a comet shape Curvilinear distortion - distortion consisting of curved lines Field curvature - the image is incorrectly curved ...
-Waterfalls: One of the most beautiful is Comet Falls-reached after a steep 2-mile hike, it plummets 320 feet over a triple drop.
Dropouts Those black or white streaks, spots, and comets zipping across the screen.
El error más común que la gente comete al hacer una foto es no enmarcar el objeto. Si es una foto de abuela saludando desde la puerta de casa, veamos a abuela y a la puerta, no la mitad de las casas de la calle con un punto en medio que es abuela.

The image of a point source of light is prevented from being brought into focus, but instead appears shaped as a comet or teardrop. Coma can be reduced by stopping down the lens.
d) Coma. This optical defect causes the image of an off-axis point of light to appear as a comet-shaped blur of light. Coma, as well as curvature of field and astigmatism, degenerate the image forming ability of the lense at the rims of the picture.
I wasn't surprised to find it on the 950 but its inclusion on the 700 is one more feature which puts it ahead of its cometitors.
Coma A lens defect which results in points of light appearing in the image not as points but as discs with comet-like tails.
This is especially useful for making magnitude measurements of variable stars, comets, asteroids, or supernovae.
(PIA) COMA-An aberration of a lens that causes oblique pencils of light rays from an object point to be imaged as a comet-shaped blur. COMPONENT-The processing of RGB (red, green, and blue) channels as three separate channels.
