Connectivity - the basics
The term connectivity refers to how a digital camera is connected to your PC or printer for image transfer or remote control of your camera. Over time connection speeds for image transfer have come a long way.

A digital camera's connectivity defines how it can be connected to other devices for the transfer, viewing, or printing of images, and to use the camera for remote capture.

Connectivity and Editing
A digital camcorder should have RCA video or composite video jacks to connect to your TV and a USB port to connect to your PC. Deluxe models may include FireWire ports for faster data transfer.

CONNECTIVITY
I recommend that you do not connect your camera directly to your computer when you download images. You should use a card reader instead. If for some reason there is a voltage spike, the card reader would be damaged and not your camera.

Connectivity
A digital camera's connectivity defines how it can be connected to other devices (computers primarily) for either the transfer of images or remote control of the camera.

Interconnectivity. It's become clear that there are far too many devices in the home that don't talk to one another—especially the computer in the home office/bedroom and the TV set in the living or family room.
