Continuous shutter - A feature found on more expensive digital cameras that enables you to take several images in quick succession; the images are saved to the memory card after the multiple exposures have been taken.

2) A camera that has a continuous shutter motor. The continuous shutter motor allows the camera to take multiple photos (or frames) per second as long as the shutter button is depressed.

Rather than staring at your quarry and waiting for exactly the right moment, set your camera's continuous shutter mode and fire a burst of pictures. One will work.
