DRAM Buffer
All digicams have a certain amount of fixed memory in them to facilitate image processing before the finished picture is stored to the flash memory card.

DRAM Buffer
Fixed memory used for image processing before the image is stored. Cameras with a burst mode have much larger DRAM buffers. This also makes them more expensive.

DRAM Buffer
Digicams must have some DRAM Buffer to process the image prior to writing to the memory card; the better cameras have more DRAM Buffer. Cameras with a "burst" mode require a large buffer of 32Mb or more.
