E6 sheet film processing on a budget
By John O'Connell for the Large Format Page ...

E6
Chemical processing system for most colour-reversal (slide) film. Kodak's standard chemical process for developing Ektachrome or compatible slide films from other films makers apart from Kodak.

E6
The number given to a Chemical process for developing colour transparency film. (created by Kodak but adopted universally by every other manufacturer).

-E6 - Kodak's standard chemical process for developing Ektachrome or compatible slide films.
-Easel - device to hold photographic paper flat during exposure, usually equipped with an adjustable metal mask for framing.

E6-7 incorrectly scrolls an applied element background for textarea field or overflows an input field in forms. Even the most common css hack suggested is to use the fixed position for background attachment, sometimes this isn't enough.

My E6 processing is bang on each and every time providing my exposure is bang on as well. I use the Kodak 6chem kit and wait until I have 6 rolls to process at a time using the 850ml drums. Really sweet. So, if you have the room, plumbing etc.

With E6 (slide film process) the resulting slides or film strips are usually reasonably clean.

Slide film requires processing known as E6. Because processed slide film doesn't result in actual prints, it is generally cheaper to develop slide film than standard print film.

- Lithium-Ion LP-E6 rechargeable battery (supplied & charger)

My E6 lab charges the same for 5 x 7" as it does for 8 x 10," since each sheet fills one slot of their dip-and-dunk processor. 4 x 5" loads four to a clip. Choice of format is very personal.

Sinai divers now have a facility for visiting divers with their recently opened photo service centre offering camera and video rental, E6 processing, custom videos and one or two day photographic courses.

It's very sharp for a fast slide film and I've always been pleased with the results, though it's quite grainy compared to the newer E6 ISO 200 films like Kodak E200. The quality of fast slide films isn't all that great.

Or shoot a roll of E6 (slide) film, just to see what it is like
- Get some black and white film! - Some people might tell you that it's cheating - just ignore them. Most pictures will look more like art if they are in black and white.
