Film pack
A container holding several sheets of film, so devised that when fitted to the camera the photographer can pull a tab to remove an exposed sheet and replace it with another. Film packs are typical with Polaroid film.

 


DxO Film Pack
DxO also announced a stand-alone version 1.1 of Film Pack. This is software which tweaks images from specific digital cameras to match images shot on certain kinds of film.

Film packed in clear plastic canisters (like the Fuji canisters and most Kodak ones) and carried in clear plastic bags are the easiest for the inspectors to see. If you make it easy for them, they are more likely to permit a hand check.

Temperature
Acceptable temperatures vary by manufacturer and film - be sure to check the film package for limits.
X-Rays
Use a lead-lined package that has been airport approved for transport.

The same film packaged for consumers comes in only one color balance. The second real benefit to professional film is only for those who cling to old-style retouching methods (i.e., not PhotoShop).
