FLASH FACTOR - Also known as " Guide number," a number which serves as a guide to proper exposure when using flash. The number is based on a flash unit's light output and the film speed.
Flash factor. See Guide number.
Flash, fill. Flash used to fill shadows even when there is enough light to otherwise take the photograph.
