Before I start this tip, I should mention that trap focus mode is only available on digital SLR camera models.
Nikon focus modes
When you set your camera lens to AF (auto focus), digital SLR cameras offer the photographer a choice between interchangeable modes. Auto focus modes can vary between different digital camera brands.

Many cameras also support an autofocus mode which continually adjust the focus distance for moving subjects. Canon cameras refer to this as "AI Servo" focusing, whereas Nikon cameras refer to his as "continuous" focusing.
This is a hybrid auto-focus mode available on the higher end Canon EOS digital cameras (i.e. 5D, 1000D, etc.), where the camera automatically switches between One Shot mode and AI Servo mode (AI refers to 'artificial intelligence').

I much prefer the Filmstrip Focus mode - this changes the way Bridge looks and functions. I find it makes it much easier to find files and preview them full-size before I open in them in Adobe RAW or Photoshop.
