H.264 H.264 is a standard for video compression. It is also known as MPEG-4 AVC. Hair Light A light placed above and to the side of a portrait subject, to illuminate the person's hair/head. It is a form of accent lighting.
You might want to add a gobo (something to block the light) to keep the hair light from shining back into your lens and making ghosts in your camera. This is how I photograph everything I shoot with my strobes, from lenses to people.

The area was open from above (a natural built-in hair light. One side was open to the parking lot (one of my all-time favorite choices for location photography).
Kicker lights (also called hair lights or side lights) provide lighting to the hair of the subject. This helps add depth to the photo and can be used to separate the subject from the background.
As I have only one reflector but no active light shaper above the model, an additional Pulsoflex EM 30x110cm was used as a hair light.
The use of umbrellas gives it a nice and soft quality. You can also use a third light at the back to get rid of the shadows. For more advance photography, you can add a fourth light that serves the purpose of a hair light.
