Hunting for budget lenses is often a hit and miss game. You will always be happy with an L-Lens if you can afford it, but even a cheaper lens can give you excellent results.

theatres and art galleries allow photography but without flash.
when hunting for the additional memory cards consider the recording speed - if you are shooting multiple sports shots you need the fast memory to transfer teh pics to the casrd - also consider the size of the card . I do not get cards too large .

My occasional hunting mate of the time referred to it as the 'Point and Pull', describing the manner in which photos were randomly framed up and fired off. Actually, he referred to my rifle of the time in the same way, an old No.4 MkI .

The camera did do a bit of hunting when I shot this mostly backlit photo. Still, it is a huge improvement from the Canon 5D, and extra points for the fact that even when it does hunt for focus, when it locks, it's reliable. 2000 ISO, Canon 50mm f/1.

Actually it was so dark, so I couldn't see the camera. This 8 sec shot shows much more details and light than it was visible to the naked eye.
In most cases you wouldn't take images like this - unless you are really hunting for something :-) ...
