Image resolution
Unlike conventional photographs where we refer to a 5 x 7-inch or 8 x 10-inch print, the overall size of a digital image is measured
in pixels. They are grouped in a matrix of coloured dots.

- IMAGE POSTERIZATION -
Posterization occurs when an image's apparent bit depth has been decreased so much that it has a visual impact.

These lenses provide a bright image in the viewfinder to focus. As a result, when you look through the viewfinder, you only see the depth of field for the maximum aperture and not the working f/stop.

Image quality is excellent, with resolution as-good-as if not better than the leading digicam's on the market. Colour balance and exposure was very good (if for a lack of spot measuring).

RAW image format contains all of the image information from the camera's imaging sensor. Until the file is opened in a RAW converter program there is no tonal range adjustment (levels or curves).

For this image, a horizontal guide is required, so the Horizontal option is checked. Clicking OK closes the dialog box and places a guide at the top of the image (see Figure 5)

On the subject of Quality this web site makes the assumption that the quality of the end results of desktop digital imaging should be State-of-the-art.

Your image is now a spot color image. Now you will need to make any needed adjustments to your color. You may make the color more vivid or give it a "washed out" look.

Are 14-bit Raw Images Really Any Better Than 12-bit Raw?
Just when you think you've gotten a handle on the JPEG versus RAW debate and which color space is better than the other, along comes a new choice to make.

If you're shooting in JPG mode and want a quick way to tell which image is the sharpest, just look at the file sizes. The one with the largest file size is nearly always the sharpest shot.

Image design with view cameras : Unlike any other format, view cameras require well studied compositions prior to releasing the shutter.

Image quality has made TIFF files the standard data file type for archiving images and photos. The only negative aspect of TIFF files is their size.

Images that are obviously slightly tilted, or with poor composition can be rotated and cropped to suit. Sometimes it's a good idea to put this step off until after color correction since you may crop off a good white reference.
