If you have ever seen a video of a flower blossom suddenly opening, or a building going up over the course of a few seconds, you've seen time-lapse photography in action.
What is an intervalometer?
A fancy name for an interval timer or time lapse timer. A normal self-timer will take a single photograph after a set period of time - usually 2 or 10 seconds.
