If you find your LCD display has been turning off too fast, then choose either long or custom. Long will allow the LCD display to stay on for around 20 seconds before it turns off.

3) Check LCD Screen
Check the digital camera's LCD screen for general framing of the picture, any movement, visibility of faces, and the histogram.
Study the LCD and ask yourself what you can do to improve the picture. Perhaps a touch of flash to open up the shadows would help. Perhaps the addition of a warm toned reflector would be beneficial. Maybe zooming the lens will add a creative twist.
Adjust the LCD brightness setting to ensure you get a realistic idea of your exposures when reviewing your shots, otherwise there's a risk that they may look brighter or darker than they really are.
