Lens Board: All brands of lenses work on all large format cameras. You need a lens board that fits the camera and has the correct sized hole. Get a Technika lens board which fits the Tachihara. Most 150 mm lenses are size Copal 0.

The rise, fall and shift movements are geared and each movement is calibrated with screen printed scales in millimetres. Adjustments are made with large plastic knobs mounted on the L-shaped standards.
This control raises and lowers the lens board. This prevents you from tilting the entire camera and nullifying the distortion corrections made on the vertical plane.
If you are considering a long focal length lens that is not a telephoto design, be sure to measure your camera's actual maximum film plane to lens board bellows extension. Don't trust the manufacturer's stated bellows extension.
