Liquid Crystal Display (LCD)
LCD, which stands for liquid crystal display, refers to a specialized flat screen available on most digital cameras but not traditional manual ones.

Liquid Crystal Display (LCD)
The little screen on the back of the digital camera is the LCD, or Liquid Crystal Display. Most LCDs are between 1.8 and 3.0' diagonally using modern TFT technology.

Press the shutter button down halfway if your flash has a rear-panel LCD (liquid crystal display). The flash coupling range will appear in the flash unit's LCD. This range is the distance that can safely be covered by the flash.
