Lith film
Very high-contrast B&W film which, after correct development with a special lith developer, gives negatives of black and white only (with no greys).

Lith film
Very high contrast film, which gives pure blacks and whites and no grays. Lith paper is a very high contrast paper, though it does normally give some grays with all but the most contrasty negatives.
Lith film - extreme form of line film, which produces very high contrast images when used in conjunction with a special lith developer.
Therefore, the best film for copying black-and-white line originals is one with extreme contrast, such as Kodak Kodalith film.
I didn't see any descriptions of lith films. I've been working with them on and off for two years to make landscapes and other "real" pictures (i.e., not title slides).
-Photo-etching - technique of contact printing an image on lith film on a presensitized zinc plate which is then processed and chemically etched to give a relief image.
