Microfiche is a sheet of microfilm usually forming part of a filing system.
Microfilm is a film used to produce a microscopic record of a document and intended for projection.

I've used microfiche (rear-screen projection) viewers for checking slides and negatives, especially for sharpness. They're cheap on the 2nd-hand market (everything's computerized now, right?) ...

In microfiche, bar codes allow the automatic control of the duplication process, plus contain indexing information. These bar codes usually appear in the last two or three title frames in the first title row of a microfiche.

Aside from the technical phone support they offer with their products, Kodak also has home service for other devices, such as printers, microfilmer machines, microfiche machines, and photocopiers, ...

Microfiche editions of NAVSUP P-2002 are issued quarterly; each edition reflects all current Cog 0I and 1I Publications and Forms.
