Mirror (Mirror lens)
A long lens that uses mirrors within its construction. This allows an extremely long focal length lens to fit within a relatively short barrel.

Microphotography
Microphotography uses specialized cameras and microscopes to capture images of extremely small subjects. Most applications of microphotography are best suited for the scientific world.

Microphotograph is a photograph produced to a very small size which can be viewed with a microfilm reader.
Microprism collar is a grid type ring found in the center of a camera focusing screen, usually surrounding a split image screen.

A micrograph, microphotograph or photomicrograph is a photograph or similar image taken through a microscope or similar device to show a magnified image of an item.

Normal photography is defined as less than 1/10 life size, and microphotography is defined as greater than life size. Don't worry about this since even these terms are defined differently by different people.

The process of taking photographs of minute objects using a camera and a microscope; not to be confused with "microphotography," the process of making minute photographs of large objects.

I choose this camera due to good ratings, manual focus, and low price. I hope to do other microphotography (insects, etc.) with this camera in addition to snowflakes. I plan to come up with a way of keeping the camera warm.
