Waterfalls in mixed lighting tend to work best. Even lighting (sun or shade) tends to result in pictures that lack contrast.

There are times when the mixed lighting makes it difficult to get proper color balance with film, and that's where digital truly excels. Films like Fuji Reala also do a fairly good job of balancing out color casts from fluorescent lighting.
Artificial light is more of a challenge, but even under mixed lighting the S95 generally gets it right. As we've come to expect from Canon compact cameras, the S95 errs on the side of warmth when faced with tungsten lighting.
