MMC cards come in capacities of up to 2Gb and measure 32x24x1.4mm, which is about 1/5 the size of a CF-card. The latest addition is the reduced size MultiMediaCard (RS-MMC), which offers faster data access and is only 1/2 the size of a standard MMC.

Memory Stick™, a proprietary format from Sony Corporation, is shaped something like a stick of gum. These cards are used only in Sony products.
The SecureDigital card differs from the MMC in that it offers (or tries to, anyway) digital rights management inside the card. This is a good reason to never buy any devices that use them, especially MP3 players.
You can get an adapter here that lets you use smaller SD, SM, MMC, MS and MS Pro memory cards in a CF slot. I haven't tried it; I just use standard CF cards.
