Mounting press Also called a dry-mounting press. A device that provides both pressure and heat, for mounting a photograph on a support, using a tissue coated with heat-softenable adhesive.
This can be done by heating the mounting board or paper in the mounting press to remove the moisture. The time required to form a good bond varies when you are using a dry-mounting press.
Canon has now responded to this mounting pressure by launching a new model one tier below the 450D in its current lineup - the EOS 1000D.
