Mounting tissue
Also called mounting tissue. A thin paper coated with adhesive on both sides for permanently adhering a photograph to a support. The adhesive is softened by heat and hardens when it cools.

With a dry-mounting press, heat is used to fuse a mounting tissue between the print and the mounting surface. A dry-mount press is designed to provide uniform pressure and heat. Even pressure is an important aspect of good, dry mounting.

Set the photo with mounting tissue attached where you want it to be on the mounting board.
