Off-The-Film Metering
A meter which determines exposure by reading light reflected from the film during picture-taking or a way of metering meters light reflects off film plane during exposure.

Off-The-Film Metering A meter which determines exposure by reading light reflected from the film during picture-taking.
Ortho (Orthochromatic) Denotes film sensitive to blue and green light.
Minolta later manufactured and sold an improved electronic version, the Minolta CLE with Auto Exposure, Off-The-Film TTL metering and TTL Flash metering, together with three M-Rokkor lenses, the 40 mm f/2, 28 mm f/2.8 and 90 mm f/4.
