Panchromatic Films
Films which must be handled to total darkness until completely processed. Example: Kodak T-Max, Tri-x, Plus-X, Ilford Delta, Agfa APX.

T-Max films have a different spectral sensitivity than most other panchromatic films. They "see" colors in a way that is closer to human eyesight. There may be some differences in filter factors with T-MAX films.

Wideband panchromatic film has been available in various forms since the 1920s, when some UV and IR sensitivity remained in commercially available emulsions.
