Printer resolution
The amount of detail a printer or imagesetter will reproduce, measured in dots per inch (dpi).
Printer resolution measured in DPI [dots per inch]. Digital camera resolution is in pixels, usually defined by the total number of pixels captured, 3mp,6mp etc, or by the size, 1600x1200 [2mp], 2048x1536 [3mp], 3008x2008[6mp].
0 makes it easy to optimize image sharpness for specific printers, using better algorithms and choices familiar to photographers. Select the printer type, intended print-viewing distance, paper type and printer resolution, ...
It can also refer to printer resolution, digital camera CCD resolution, etc. In traditional photography, if refers to the ability of a lens or photographic material to reproduce small details and is measured in lines per millimeter.
