Rubber Stamp
A tool used for replicating pixels in digital imaging. Also called Clone Stamp Tool
RS232 ...

Rubber Stamp - This digital editing technique enables the user copy pixels from one part of a digital image to another.

Rubber stamp
This tool is used to retouch flaws, make a copy of a selected area and paste it elsewhere, or reproduce an object.

Rubber stamping is a wonderful way to send personalized greeting cards and postcards home from your getaway by the sea.

The Rubber Stamp tool is an indispensible spot remover. Combined with a pressure sensitive graphics tablet, it is a joy to remove spots from images. Typically spots happen in film scans from dust in the scanner.

Clone Stamp or Rubber Stamp tool. Allows a user to copy a part of a digital image to somewhere else. It is therefore ideal for repair work, e.g. removing unwanted spots or blemishes. Equivalent to Copy and Paste in a brush.

Whether it's like back in the old days when a rubber stamp was carved out for the news printing machine or today when drawings are scanned and processed into the computer.

The most common tool is the clone tool (called the rubber stamp clone tool in some programs).

I bought a rubber stamp at an office supply store and stamp that number on the back of a print or the border of the slide. On the print I ink in the negative number that the print is from.

This trick below for earlier Photoshop versions solves both problems, and it's faster than using the rubber stamp tool.
