100 DPI (DotsPerInch ili TacakaPoColu) je rezolucija vecine 17" ekrana koje koristimo. Matematicki gledajuci ako je rezolucija na vasem ekranu 1,024x768 sa sirina ekrana od 10" onda (1,024/10)=102.4 DPI.

 


Screen Resolution - The resolution of an electronic display. In general the resolution refers to the number of pixels creating the display.

Screen Resolution and Image Size
On any given monitor, changing screen resolution changes the number and size of pixels used to display objects such as icons, text, buttons, and images.

COMPUTER SCREEN RESOLUTION: Computer screens are capable of displaying different amounts of pixels across their length and height.

In recent years, screen resolutions are getting both bigger (large monitors) and smaller (in the mobile sense), as such, a static or fixed web layout may no longer be deemed completely viable. Maybe its time to change.

It's written is small type on the side of the box Photoshop comes in as well (as on Adobe's website) that the system requirements include a minimum screen resolution of 1024 by 768. Set yours to at least this and all will be well.

The pixel is the digital term. Screen resolution determines the displayed size. A 600 x 800 screen setting is a different size than a 768 x 1024 screen.

You'll often see dpi used to refer to monitor screen resolution or the resolution of scanners.

Hue A term that describes the entire range of colors of the spectrum. HVGA Half the screen size of VGA screens. HVGA has a screen resolution of 480x320 (3:2), commonly used as a display size for PDA and cellphones.

SVGA
Super Video Graphics Array. Refers to a display screen resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. (QXGA, SXGA, VGA, UXGA, XGA)
SXGA
Super Extended Graphics Array. Describes a resolution of 1,280 x 1,024 image pixels. (QXGA, SVGA, VGA, UXGA, XGA) ...

Below is a table showing the megapixels you need for which print size and which screen resolution this gives. Print sizes are given in 300 and 150PPI, or Pixels per Inch.

I can hold a camera steady, but at 1/15 second, not that steady! (I also shot at 1/30 sec and although the image was blurry it would be hard to show at screen resolution; in even a 4x6-inch print, however, it would be noticeable.) ...

Monitor quality depends on screen resolution. The finer the pitch of the screen, the sharper the image. The PITCH of the screen is the size of a single pixel.
