Universal Screw Mount: A style of lens mounting once used by Pentax, Praktica and other camera makers. The universal screw mount has 42mm diameter threads on the lens mount.

If you've got, for example, a lens designed for an old Pentax threaded (screw mount) camera like the Pentax Spotmatic you'll need an adapter for M42 lenses. Same with the new line of Carl Zeiss ZS lenses, which also use M42.
I use the Rollei bellows with the 39mm screw mount lens adapter. I have been testing many different enlarging lenses with with the 39mm screw mount.
An alternative way to mount an adaptall lens on an EOS body is to get a Pentax Screw Mount (M42) Adaptall mount and an M42 -> EOS lens adapter. A Gitzo 1325 tripod with an Arca-Swiss B1 ball head was used to support the lenses.
One of the fun ones is the 8mm circular fisheye which runs about $300 in screw mount. I think it runs $325 in Nikon mount. It's a full circle fisheye on film, but as you see here almost fills the frame of my Nikon D200 digital.
It has a camera mount on one side (make sure you're buying for your DSLR's mount) on one side, and a threaded screw mount that attaches to the front of your lens.

RF cameras with interchangeable lenses have several sets of framelines that are brought up either automatically (for cameras with bayonet mounts), or manually (cameras with screw mount).
