Silkscreen
Silkscreen is best used in places where extremely small graphical display type is needed. The primary use is for navigational items (nav bars, menus, etc.).

Silkscreen - method of applying inks to paper or similar materials using a nylon stencil produced by photographic means.

Indulge in some silkscreening - If you want to keep your photos close by, why not integrate a mini album into your daily life by having a photo collage silkscreened onto a decorative throw, tablecloth or clock face.

Historically, the major techniques (also called media) involved are woodcut, line engraving, etching, lithography, and screenprinting (serigraphy, silkscreening) but there are many others, including modern digital techniques.

This can happen, for example, when you are scanning an image with a periodic structure (such as a checkered shirt or a half-toned image), scanning a digital image, taking a digital photograph of a periodic pattern, or even when silkscreening.
