Take your time and develop a methodical way of doing this.
First, find an old slide. If you like the image, scan it, or have a duplicate of the slide made, so that you still have the original image for reference. Find some matches, or a lighter. Then, the fun begins.
-Slide duplicating system. Regardless of the equipment being used, your goals for duplicating transparent originals should be to duplicate, improve, or alter, as desired, the reproduction of the original.
With slides, what you shoot is what you submit. There is a digital process where you can scan in a slide, correct any problems, and then have a lab make another slide out of the new file. But who has time for that.
Kodak Vericolor film is a colour negative film normally used for making positive transparencies from colour negatives (slides from prints) and internegatives, but will produce a colour negative of the subject when used in a camera.

Positive film, as you would expect, is the opposite of negative film. After processing the film you will have a set of positive images. You will usually get them returned to you in individual plastic frames as mounted slides.
