Themed Family Photography, Anyone?
Family pictures are a lot more interesting these days. These days when there are lots of options people can avail of, the days of lacklustre photos are gone giving way to exciting themed ones.

Theme: What is the universal message of this photograph? What does it imply? What does it say? What kind of statement is the photographer making? Is it about love, or childhood, or parents, or growing old?

Photographic themes - the basics
It would be a waste to only use your digicam to record your family at birthday parties and Christmas celebrations.

Theme by color
A great way to select what to photograph is to start with a color in mind.

Out of the box, Pixelpost comes installed with two simple photoblog themes (seen above), they also have many themes available on their website.
Custom theming is also simple as Pixelpost uses HTML files with variables.

Use Themes to Create Multiple Albums
Throwing together an online photo album that contains all kinds of random photos is certainly one way to go about sharing your images with the world.

When you choose a theme it should represent your interest in a place. This could be food, transport, or in this case, street life. Try to plan what you are trying to show.

If you feel like you're always visiting the same locations and snapping the same general theme, try something drastically different.

Don't upload too many photographs of the same theme, otherwise they may be rejected. For example, just because an acency has accepted one of your highrise buildings, it doesn't mean they want another seven from different angles.

In fact, I'd say the overarching theme of our workflow is one that's in constant flux. There are always new challenges and new tools being developed with which to meet them.

For as wacky as classic animation can be, a dark edge and sense of peril is often a central theme. It's setup for the real laughs that come from seeing how characters humorously outsmart their pursuers.
