TLRs have a fixed normal lens.
Some TLRs, like the Yashica, offered hokey front-attachments to give mild wide or tele effects. I had one, they worked awful.

-The twin-lens reflex (TLR) system uses a matched set of lenses for focusing and viewing. One lens is the viewing lens; the other is the picture-taking lens. The viewing lens is always wide open.
Cameras which use a leaf shutter, such as a many twin lens reflex cameras (TLR) and many medium format cameras where the shutter is contained within the lens, not the camera body, can sync at any speed due to the way the shutter opens and closes.
I am an addicted old TLR fan, with a Rolleicord V, a Yashica A, Yashicamat and a rather rare Minoltacord. I have used 35mm my entire life until about 2 years ago when I purchased the "A" for less than $100.
A TLR is a nice introduction and for many the camera of their lives.
An by means of a good cutter each rectangular print can be cropped to square.

Twin Lens Reflex Cameras: The twin lens reflex (TLR) was introduced in 1929 by Rollei. They were superseded by single-lens-reflex cameras with through-the-lens viewing.
A camera in which two lenses are mounted above one another. The bottom (taking ) lens forms an image to expose the film. The top (viewing) lens forms an image that reflects upward onto a ground glass viewing screen. Abbreviated TLR.
