Sepia Toning Using Hue/Saturation
This is the quickest and easiest toning technique there is. You can tone your photo virtually any colour that you like in just a few seconds.
Blue toning is applied to black and white images to give them a cool feel. Blue toning uses iron to replace the original silver of the image. To make this change is very simple.

Solutions called toners are used to change the colour of a black and white photographic image. Various toners are available which add there own Cold or Warm tones to the print (Sepia is the most well known).

Toning and toners-Changing the visual appearance of a silver image by converting some or all of the silver halides to a different type, resulting in an image tone. This can be accomplished with either prints or negatives.
TONING - Altering the tone of a print, generally by intensification. "Toners" are the solutions used to produce different color shades.
Halftoning - This is a process in which the image/photograph is created by different sized dots to simulate gray.
Keystoning: The distortion of a projected slide or movie caused by the projector lens axis not being at a 90 degree angle to the screen. The image will appear wider at one edge than on the opposite and the image will not be uniformly sharp.
Halftoning - A method of representing the gray tones of an image by varying the size of the dots used to show the image.
Highlight - The brightest values in an image.
Keystoning
The apparent "unparalleling" of parallel lines as a result of not shooting a building or framed picture at a perpendicular (90°) angle. The same phenomenon can occur with projected images.

LPI - Stands for lines per inch. LPI measures the frequency of lines a printer can create while halftoning.

The distortion is evident with the presents appearing much bigger than they really were. I corrected some of the keystoning using Photoshop.
I then mounted the camera to a tripod and raised it to where the lens was the same height as the center of the painting to prevent any linear distortion, or "keystoning", from occurring (figures 1 & 2).
Exposure performs other editing functions as well. The options include a monochromatic toning filter set (blue, gold, sepia, selenium and sulphide) that allows you to re-create the look of old-fashioned image recording techniques.
You can sometimes squeeze things in with a wide-angle lens (24mm or wider), but you must often tip the camera up to include the tallest parts, which produces an effect called keystoning, in which the buildings appear to be falling backward.

There are no gray dots at all. The more dither patterns that a device or program supports, the more shades of gray it can represent. In printing, dithering is usually called halftoning, and shades of gray are called halftones.
