45x" converter lens, as very wide-angle converters are usually pretty bad. Lensmate has several pages (e.g., Canon S3/S5, Canon G7/G9) with examples using wide-angle converters, but the widest they go is 0.66x.
The System: Hot shoe holds any Nikon flash . Also, the WC-E75A wide-angle converter lens turns the maximum angle of coverage to aroud 24mm (you need the UR-22 adapter ring to connect it to the camera).

This button releases the knurled circular metal ring around the lens, revealing a bayonet mount for the optional Wide-angle Converter WC-E75A. This converts the P7000's 28mm wideangle setting to 21mm equivalent. It requires the Adapter Ring UR-E22.
