X ray film
is spectral sheet film for radiography, having a thick emulsion coated on both sides of the support to increase the absorption of X rays.

Radiography
A technique of using X rays, gamma rays and charged particles to form shadow images on photographic materials. Used in medical and industrial research because of its ability to penetrate opaque objects.
