ZLR Camera
The Zoom-Lens Reflex (ZLR) is an SLR (single lens reflex) camera in which the zoom lens is directly integrated into the camera body, instead of having an interchangeable lens.

Digital SLR/ZLR Viewfinders:
SLR stands for Single Lens Reflex, which simply means that you view the scene through the lens that takes the picture rather than a separate viewfinder window, ...

Just as in 35mm where you have interchangeable SLRs, point and shoot and zoom lens reflex (ZLR), digital cameras offer the same, except they don't use traditional films.

What's probably more startling is the relatively minute size of the 2/3" type sensor used in the two previous digital ZLR cameras, the E-10 and E-20.

A Zoom-lens reflex (or ZLR) camera is a Single Lens Reflex (SLR) camera having an integrated zoom lens rather than the interchangeable lenses found on other SLR cameras.

Minolta has cameras for every one of the situations listed, from P&S, to Pro SLR, to Digital ZLR, even underwater P&S cameras, the only thing they donÂ't have is a digital SLR.

Also known as Prosumer cameras or ZLR for Zoom Lens Reflex, especially the popular Olympus IS bridge camera series. Other examples include the Fuji Finepix S-series, such as the S8000, and Canon's Powershot S2 IS.

If those still didn't tempt you to become a digital convert, the Nikon Coolpix 5700 provides a highly competitive and compact ZLR alternative for those wanting to have a digital option without buying into an entire camera system.
