Actinidia deliciosa or kiwifruit is native to southern China, and has been declared the national fruit of that country.[1] Other species of Actinidia are also found in China and range east to Japan and north into southeastern Siberia.

ACTINIDIA DELICIOSA - Kiwi
A climbing vine from China with feather-veined simple leaves and a brown, hairy fruit about 3" long. The flesh is emerald green with many small seeds and the flavor is pleasant, slightly acid, and juicy.
