Paperbarks populate salt marsh behind coastal sand dunes in Austronesia and because of this ability the cajeput tree, a paperbark, has been used successfully to colonize the Florida swamps.

DESCRIPTION: Melaleuca, also known as paperbark tree, punk tree, cajeput tree, and white bottlebrush tree, is a subtropical tree in the eucalyptus family, with spongy, white, paper-like bark that can grow to 50 feet in height.
